Graduate Student Researcher
Marcus Chan is an MSc student in the Transportation Technology and Policy program at UC Davis. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from UC Davis. During his undergraduate career, Marcus completed multiple transportation planning and engineering internships in both the public and private sectors. In addition, he was an undergraduate research fellow at the National Center for Sustainable Transportation where he assisted in analyzing temporary and longer-term effects on mobility of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a graduate student, Marcus continues working on the COVID-19 Mobility Study to investigate how transportation behaviors and attitudes have changed during the pandemic. His research interests lie in travel behavior, mass transit, land use and transportation interaction, travel demand modeling, and new mobility options.
