Bio
Maha Ahmad is a Ph.D. scholar at the Institute of Transport Studies (ITS) at UC Davis.
Her research interests include shared demand responsive transport, particularly flexible transit services. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from McMaster University, Canada. Prior to joining UC Davis, Maha was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, NUST, Pakistan. Her research interests have centered on international trade, agriculture, water management, entrepreneurship and urban economics. She has conducted research projects in collaboration with the USAID, World Bank and has also worked as Research Associate for the National Tariff Commission, Pakistan.
