Description

This project aims to explore the factors affecting the adoption and frequency of use of ride-hailing services in developing countries including the four growing metro areas of Mumbai (India), Beijing (China), Sao Paulo (Brazil), and Mexico City (Mexico). We cooperate with the Word Resource Institute (WRI) on the design and launch of a survey and will develop in-depth analysis of the collected data. This project will help us understand the differences in the current market share of ride-hailing services and the factors affecting in the use of these services, and the impact that their use has on individual travel behaviors, in these growing economies.
