For more information about the 3 positions:
- Two position will be academic research appointments with the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis (ITS-Davis), working directly under the supervision of the Director of the 3 Revolutions Future Mobility Program (3RFM), Giovanni Circella. These positions will require experience in one of the following areas: (1)Big-data analysis, advanced discrete choice modeling and/or other econometrics and machine learning techniques; or (2.) Spatial analyses, GIS and/or visualization tools, in particular with applications to environmental and equity analyses.
- One position will be a policy research appointment with the Policy Institute for Energy, Environment, and the Economy, with close coordination with the ITS-Davis research team. This position will work directly with Dan Sperling, Director, ITS-Davis; Mollie D’Agostino, Policy Director, 3RFM, ITS-Davis; and Austin Brown, Director, UC Davis Policy Institute. This position will also require advanced analytical skills. The research will have an emphasis on evaluation of current and future statutory and regulatory mechanisms.
